National Facilities Management provider seeking Quality Assurance Officer with construction/trade background.

They are seeking an individual with a construction/trade background to join the Quality Assurance team.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager, your role will work independently, managing your day and responsible for:

- Site inspections to ensure quality of work
- Efficient and effective communication with a range of stakeholders including tenants, subcontractors and colleagues
- Assist in the supervising of contractors for the delivery of works on time and to high quality standard
- Administration of works to company system
- Manage all WHS on site

**What you'll need to succeed**
- A strong building trade / construction background (highly regarded)
- Experience in conducting site inspections/quality assurance
- Ideally you will hold a Working with Vulnerable People card
- Police check
- You will need to have clear, concise and effective communication with both tenants and subcontractors
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with mínimal supervision
- Competent computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Demonstrate a sound workable knowledge of WHS Act 2011.
- Able to communicate across a range of both internal and external stakeholders clearly and effectively in a manner which promotes compliance.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations
