Get ready to join the fight for a greener, more peaceful world with Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) As an independent campaigning organisation, we creatively and peacefully shine a light on the urgent environmental challenges facing our planet. We don’t shy away from the tough issues, exposing global environmental problems, and developing solutions for a green future. Join us now and be a part of the change we need to see
THE ROLE
Join us as the Philanthropy Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of GPAP fundraising We’re seeking a passionate individual to cultivate and steward relationships with large Trusts & Foundations, both locally and globally, with a strong focus on the Pacific region. With at least fifty percent of your time dedicated to Pacific-focused campaigns, you’ll have a direct impact on our organisation’s capacity to drive change in this vital area.
Your strategic and relational-fundraising approach will be key as you work alongside our passionate staff to identify and expand foundation funding opportunities. You’ll identify prospective funders, forge meaningful relationships, and secure critical financial support. Leveraging the profiles and networks of our senior campaign team, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Board members, you’ll achieve outstanding fundraising outcomes. Furthermore, you’ll collaborate with global colleagues to seize global fundraising opportunities and make an even greater impact.
If you’re ready to make a difference, leverage your skills, and contribute to our mission of environmental conservation, this is the perfect role for you. Join us as the Philanthropy Manager and let’s create a sustainable future together.
THE TEAM
As a core member of our High Value Fundraising team, you’ll have an in-depth understanding of all of GPAP’s core campaigns and global strategies. This knowledge will enable you to identify and align institutional funding opportunities that support our mission. Collaborating closely with our dedicated campaign team, you’ll develop compelling and fundable campaign proposals, maximising our chances of success.
The High Value team is a tight knit, high performing team responsible for around 40% of GPAP’s core funding. We focus on collaborating inside an acquire, retain, and grow strategic model. This role is critical to grow our institutional funding to the level needed to meet the ambition required to address the challenge of the critical decade for the climate crisis.
