Davidson Technology have teams up with a major utility provider in Melbourne to help them find their next Power BI Data Analyst.

This is a contract position running for 6 months with likelihood for extension.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Design, develop, maintain and improve data visualisations and reports using Power BI
- Data consolidations from multiple sources
- Prepare, deliver and update reports to support contractual obligations and the performance of our business to both internal and external customers in an efficient manner
- Perform data reconciliation/verification of reporting
- Develop and provide timely, accurate and insightful analysis to variety of stakeholders
- Design and development of user-friendly dashboards, and using analytics tools to visualise data and convey insights
- Buddying with users for reports creation etc.

**What you’ll bring to the table**:

- **Strong** level of experience working as a Reporting Analyst
- **Strong - Power BI, DAX, SQL skills.**:

- **Strong - UI design, Dashboards, workspace management**:

- Deep understanding of data models and metrics. Star schemas
- Can perform complex calculations, data analysis, reconciliation, numerical and verbal reasoning
- Previous experience with client and stakeholder Management, buddying with users etc
- Experience with Python.
