**The Opportunity**

The Power BI Analyst will be part of the Finance Information Management team supporting the Health Insurance Business Unit and FP&A team in providing high quality, timely, accurate and insightful business performance reporting to inform management decision making.

This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing effective reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Specifically, the role will ensure the running of end-to-end processes covered by the Finance Driver Based Reporting tool (FDBR) including the month-end process, FDBR maintenance, as well as implementation of any prioritised business enhancement requests. When required, the role will also act as an SME on the current FDBR reporting platform to the HI Data Program and may transition some of its responsibilities to the newly built solution over time.

This is an initial 12-month fixed term contract based in our Melbourne office. Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home.

**What do I need?**

Firstly, you’ll need to have strong Power BI experience covering report development, data model optimisation and tool administration, as well as the ability to build complex queries using Microsoft SQL to troubleshoot data issues.

You’ll also need to possess excellent problem-solving skills that will work with our stakeholders to create extraordinary outcomes. Having an understanding of insurance, particularly health insurance, desirable but not essential.
