**Overview**

The HR coordinator will provide support to the HR team across all areas of HR.

**Key Tasks**
- Support HR initiatives and projects
- Manage the HR inbox and act as the first point of contact for general HR queries
- Assist in all HR matters as directed by the Manager, HR
- Manage employee life cycle activities, including but not limited to, onboarding new starters, managing probationary periods and supporting offboarding activities
- Participate in the continual development of HR programs such as culture initiatives, communication, recognition and retention initiatives
- Provide assistance in the review and implementation of policies and procedures
- Assist with payroll administration
- Generate HR related reports or data as required
- Act as the primary contact on WHS matters, with escalations to the Manager, HR where required
- Adhoc tasks to support the wider HR team

**Reporting Line**

The HR Coordinator will report to the Manager, HR

**Key Competencies**
- Tertiary Qualified in Human Resource Management or related discipline desirable
- At least 1 year experience in an operational HR role
- Ability support change
- Intermediate - MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of current employment legislation
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proven experience with seeing projects through to completion
- Strong planning and organising skills
- High level of attention to detail
