The Opportunity
Our team in Melbourne is growing, and we are looking for Human Factors Consultants to join us. We are involved in the development and delivery of a variety of exciting and transformative engineering projects in Victoria and around the world, particularly major rail projects.
Role Responsibilities:

- Provide Human Factors and Human Centred Design expertise to support the delivery of a wide range of engineering projects, in particular major rail projects
- Develop or implement human performance research, investigation, or analysis protocols
- Preparation of reports or presentations summarizing results or conclusions of Human Factors activities
- Conduct research to evaluate potential solutions
- Conducting cognitive workload, risk assessments and task analysis
- Specify, verify and validate Human Factors requirements tailored for individual engineering projects
- About you
As an experienced Rail Human Factors and/or Ergonomics professional, you’re comfortable leading the integration of Human Factors considerations within and across all system lifecycle elements. Additionally, you’re able to work collaboratively within a team environment, with other Human Factors Specialists as well as other Subject Matter Experts. To be successful in this role you can also bring.
- Graduated with a qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology or Industrial Design
- Previous professional experience in rail human factors
- Good knowledge and understanding of human factors processes and standards
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
