**About wards 6 West and 6 East**

Ward 6 West and 6East are the the neuroscience wards of Austin Health. 6 West is an acute surgical inpatient unit of 32 beds caring for Neurosurgical; Vascular surgical and Ear nose and throat surgical patients. 6 East is a 24 bed inpatient unit caring for Stroke, Epilepsy and Neurology patients.

**About the role**

A regular day will see you:

- Recieving incoming phonecalls; general administration duties
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Liaising with nursing and medical staff

**About you**

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:

- Exceptional communication skills
- Administration experience
- Excellent multitaking and organisational skills
- A caring and helpful nature
- Medical terminology knowledge desirable, but not essential
