Role Summary

The Manufacturing Excellence Lead is responsible to develop, align and accelerate the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence initiatives across one of the tier 4 organizations in the Sterile Injectables and Biotech Operations OpU and to drive improvements in quality, supply, cost, and Right First Time performance. The Lead also provides for the smooth integration of the IMEx standard operating activities and initiatives to meet the performance goals of the T4 team with a specific focus on setting up the IMEx structure and governance including the T4 leadership ecosystem, key strategic projects, and operational goals. Manages the relationship and the ways of working within the IMEx Tier 3, 4 and 5 construct with other key stakeholders including Site Leaders, Leadership Team members, and Functional Leaders.

Role responsibilities- Together with the VP of Operations, drive the T4 leadership ecosystem to deliver on T5 and T6 goals.- Develop and implement a manufacturing excellence strategy for the T4 team and individual sites, prioritized to drive achievement of OpU objectives.- In partnership with other T4 Manufacturing Excellence leads, drive consistent business processes across the T4 SBO organizations.-
- Support standardizing IMEx implementation and integration between OpU Tiers 3, 4 and 5.- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to drive performance improvements- Facilitate IMEx implementation at each site as required.- Facilitate network replication of best practices.- Other responsibilities to improve network performance.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years manufacturing experience within the Pharmaceutical industry- Deep knowledge of manufacturing operations with experience in multiple sites and functions including Manufacturing, Quality Operations, Supply Chain, etc.- Proven ability to influence and drive organizational change at a site and network level- Experience working in lean production systems (IMEx, etc.)- Deep understanding and experience in six sigma/lean methodologies- Strong analytical and strategic skills with experience solving complex and unique problems- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across PGS functions and work effectively across all levels of the organization in complex, diverse, multi-cultural organizations.- Strong leadership skills necessary to engage, influence and motivate colleagues at all levels and across cultures in a global organization at all times.

Preferred Qualifications- Six sigma black belt- Strong understanding of financial modeling- Certified Innovation coach

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time occasionally, ~25% on an annualized basis.
