About the role

Boss Polymer Technologies is seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team in Mulgrave, VIC. As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing facility, contributing to the efficient and high-quality production of our industry-leading polymer products. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure consistent and efficient manufacturing processes
  • Performing quality checks throughout the production cycle to maintain high product standards
  • Identifying and reporting any issues or defects, and collaborating with the team to implement corrective actions
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
  • Assisting with the setup and changeover of production machinery as needed
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing feedback to enhance manufacturing operations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar production or manufacturing role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Forklift licence and experience in a polymer or plastics manufacturing environment would be advantageous
