About the role

Join Boss Polymer Technologies as a full-time Extruder Operator based in Mulgrave, VIC. As an Extruder Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating and monitoring extruder machines to produce high-quality Rubber and Plastic products. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading manufacturer in the industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate and monitor extruder machines to ensure efficient and consistent production
  2. Perform setup, start-up, shut-down, and basic maintenance procedures on extruder equipment
  3. Continuously monitor product quality and make adjustments to the extruder as needed
  4. Identify and troubleshoot any issues with the extruder or production process
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the production process
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
  7. Collaborate with the production team to optimise efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as an Extruder Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  2. Strong technical understanding of extruder machinery and the manufacturing process
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  6. Good communication and teamwork skills
  7. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
