Our **South Yarra **restaurant is looking for an experienced **Reservations Agent** to join the **Guest Services Department** within our store. Working alongside the management team, you will have the chance to lead, drive and mentor a team of enthusiastic and committed team members to ensure an outstanding dining experience for your customers. **What we can offer you**: - Employee discount and staff meals - A training program dedicated to developing our team and giving them the best opportunities to succeed - Potential career progression with a national company - Support from an experienced dedicated team **Do you have?**: - A minimum of 1 years' experience in guest services within the restaurant, hotel or tourism industry - Experience in function booking and coordination - Previous experience in an A La Carte environment an advantage - Cash handling experience - Advanced verbal and written communication skills - SevenRooms experience an advantage - Current RSA certificate - Flexible availability over a 7 day rotating roster **Day to day duties may include**: - Allocate and monitor all reservations and manage the door during service periods - Maximise seating times and allocations through multi tasking - Responsible for processing financial transactions and closing procedures - Manage the function process end to end - exceptional communication skills both external and internal - An understanding of up to date reservation systems and working with loyalty programs, vouchers and gift cards We are looking for the exceptional applicants who are passionate about the hospitality industry and values being part of a supportive team.
