**The Role**
Are you an experienced delivery manager seeking an exciting new project? We’re looking for someone to lead a new team as we seek to make pay and conditions information more accessible for Defence employees on the Defence intranet.
You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team to:
- Conduct research to develop an understanding of user needs.
- Develop and test design prototypes.
- Work with stakeholders to develop information that helps employees and managers more easily understand their conditions.
**About our Team**
The team is responsible for implementing ADF and APS pay and conditions through legislative instruments (determinations) and also transforming this information into plain English content which users can understand and action.
We sit in the area of Defence responsible for delivering people policy and employment conditions for Defence APS employees and members of the ADF.
We value curiosity and ideas, and you’ll be supported to devise solutions to problems and challenge thinking. The team is self-directed and inclusive. We use agile ways of working to achieve outcomes and remote working tools to collaborate with our team members across the country.
As a multi-disciplinary team, the contribution of all team members ensures our success.
We
- re based in Canberra, but the role can be performed anywhere around the country.
You’re an enthusiastic individual with experience working in an agile project management environment.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Demonstrated understanding of agile principles.
- A track record of delivering projects and products.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a collaborative and dynamic planning and design process.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders.
