As the Vocational Education & Training (VET) **Portfolio Manager**, you will report directly into the Executive Director and provide support across a wide range of Training Products as well as wider organisational project work. This will be achieved through the provision of high quality, robust technical advice and intelligence on the VET sector and associated training products. The primary objective of the role is to work towards aligning VET Packages with industry needs.

As such, you should expect to undertake the following tasks and duties:

- Collaborate, and liaise, with internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, the National Industry Engagement Teams, Expert Working Groups (EWGs), colleagues, subcontractors and the public
- Arrange, facilitate, support various industry engagement activities as well as lead and participate in events and activities
- Arrange, facilitate, support engage with EWGs providing logístical and secretarial support
- Address inbound queries from industry stakeholders professionally and effectively
- Implement a project decision framework for triaging and actioning industry intelligence
- Initiate, coordinate and lead projects and business case development
- Provide project management support from initiation through to execution of training programs and training product development programs

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Robust understanding of the Australian VET system and experience interpreting Training Package Requirements
- Demonstrable track record of effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to form and maintain strong professional relationships
- Task oriented approach with excellent attention to detail and record keeping and data entry skills
