We are seeking an experienced
Portfolio Delivery Manager (PDM)
to lead the delivery of a major ICT Program of Work that supports critical services for one of Australia's most dynamic city councils.

In this role, you'll provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of ICT projects, from concept to closure. Working within an established governance framework, you will oversee planning, prioritisation, and execution to deliver fit-for-purpose, enterprise-ready solutions that meet business and community needs.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and support project managers to deliver large-scale, complex ICT initiatives.
  • Manage portfolio performance, governance, budgets, and risk to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation, influencing and negotiating to resolve challenges in sensitive environments.
  • Oversee program interdependencies, conflicting priorities, and vendor relationships.
  • Contribute to strategic investment planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years' experience delivering major ICT programs and portfolios in complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary ICT teams through large-scale transformation.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, influence, and negotiation.
  • Expertise in program/project methodologies such as MSP, PMBok, PRINCE2 or SAFe.
  • Demonstrated financial, risk, and vendor management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ICT concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
