**The company**:
Our client is a global service provider with a dedicated team who work to service customers across a broad range of industry sectors including mining, resources, energy and construction. Due to recent growth and investment into their property and construction portfolio, they are currently looking to appoint a Property Portfolio Manager to be based in their Head Office. This role has flexible working arrangements to work from home at times also and would best suit someone coming from a property management, leasing and acquisitions background.

**The role**:
This is a key role to lead a portfolio of properties across commercial and industrial assets and land. Key responsibilities will include:

- Manage lease agreement negotiations to achieve market related or better yields, including lease renewals, leasehold improvement negotiations, landlord performance management & regular tenancy reviews and sub-tenant management
- Manage property acquisition negotiations, property disposal negotiations and property ownership obligations
- Work with relevant stakeholders to understand operational facility requirements and to achieve best property solutions, locations, functionality, own or lease optimization and net property cost optimisation
- Develop overarching property strategy, identify and mitigate potential risks, and maintain relevant documentation across the portfolio
- Investigate and search for property options for expansion and new sites, which meet functional/location requirements at optimal lease costs/purchase prices in collaboration with Strategic Facilities teams and secure leased or freehold tenancy as required
- Develop lease and property cost budgets
- Collaborate on projects with other Strategic Facilities team members on concept developments, site master planning and project management of integrated projects

**About You**:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

- Relevant qualifications or experience in property, acquisitions, leasing or alike
- Experience in leasing and property management
- Experience and/or understanding of property acquisitions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence across a variety of stakeholders at the senior level
- Strong commercial acumen and business skills
