A highly capable and independent Data Analyst is required to join a growing Data Analytics and Intelligence team. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on working with limited supervision, brings deep experience in data integration and analytics, and is focused on delivering high-value business outcomes.
In this pivotal role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business performance by analysing large, complex datasets, identifying key trends, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders across the organisation. You will work with a variety of data sources.
Success in this role depends on a strong understanding of data platforms, a business-driven mindset, and a passion for producing quality work while working alongside an experience and collaborative team of data professionals. The position would suit someone with strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills to deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders across the organisation.
**Key duties of this role are to**:
- Manage end-to-end analytics delivery cycle for business teams, including the development and automation of dashboards, scheduled reporting, and ad-hoc analysis to deliver timely insights that support informed decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytics outputs.
- Design and implement data visualisations using sustainable, efficient, and best-practice approaches that enable effective analysis and minimise manual data refresh or maintenance.
- Utilise tools such as Snowflake, Informatica IICS, Power BI, and Python to perform advanced data exploration, transformation, and visualisation.
- Provide training and ongoing support to business users on reporting tools to enable self-service analytics and data literacy.
- Uphold data governance practices across all deliverables, ensuring high standards of data accuracy, integrity, privacy, documentation, and lineage tracking ensuring your solutions align with organisational standards.

You are a self-motivated and analytical professional with a strong technical foundation in data platforms and visualisation tools. Known for your problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently, you thrive in a fast-paced environment where transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights supports meaningful business decisions.
**To succeed in this role, you will have**:
- 3-5 years of experience working as data analytics, business intelligence, advanced data analytics or data science role.
- Strong data analytics and insight presentation skills and experience with MS Power BI, SQL, and Python with relevant certification considered favourably.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract meaningful, actionable insights, even when data is influenced by multiple external factors.
- Proven experience working across diverse databases and analytics platforms, particularly Snowflake, Informatica IICS will be highly regarded.
- Working independently to take a data problem and solve it from start to finish, even when there is limited engineering support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clarify analytical requirements, promote best-practice use of insights, and present findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong data cataloguing and documentation skills, ensuring analytical processes, logic, and outputs are clearly captured, accurate, and sustainable for long-term use.
You will be required to undertake a**“Fit2Work” National Criminal History Check**and**hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
