A highly capable and independent Data Analyst is required to join a growing Data Analytics and Intelligence team. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on working with limited supervision, brings deep experience in data integration and analytics, and is focused on delivering high-value business outcomes.

In this pivotal role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business performance by analysing large, complex datasets, identifying key trends, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders across the organisation. You will work with a variety of data sources.

Success in this role depends on a strong understanding of data platforms, a business-driven mindset, and a passion for producing quality work while working alongside an experience and collaborative team of data professionals. The position would suit someone with strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills to deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders across the organisation.

**Key duties of this role are to**:**
- Manage end-to-end delivery of data analytics delivery cycle with the business teams, including the requirements gathering and documentation in MS SharePoint and data catalogue and O365, development and automation of dashboards, scheduled reporting, and ad-hoc analysis to deliver timely insights that support informed decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyse, understands and present meaningful business insight, analysis observations, findings and recommendations.
- Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytics outputs.
- Design and implement data visualisations using sustainable, efficient, and best-practice approaches that enable effective analysis and minimise manual data refresh or maintenance.
- End to End management and delivery of data analysis service request across all business units and domains.
- Utilise tools such as Snowflake, MS Power BI, Informatica IICS, and Python to perform advanced data exploration, transformation, and visualisation.
- Adopt data governance practices across all deliverables, ensuring high standards of data accuracy, integrity, privacy, documentation, and lineage tracking ensuring your solutions align with organisational standards.
- Provide use enablement, training and ongoing support to business users on reporting tools to enable self-service analytics and data literacy.

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- ** Must have a minimum 7+ years**of proven local work experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Business Intelligence Specialist, Advanced Data Analyst or related business data analytics, insight and science roles.
- **Must have a minimum 5+ years** of proven local work experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Business Intelligence Specialist, Advanced Data Analyst or related business data analytics, insight and science roles. **(Fixed-Term role)**
- ** Deep experience** with data analysis, investigation, representation, documentation and remediation of business data reporting and analysis requirements, data pipeline and representation issues, data quality issues, root cause analysis, data science and pattern analysis will be highly regarded.
- ** Must have a minimum 5 years** of current / recent (no more than 12 months old) data analytics, insight presentation, and experience with** MS Power BI, SQL,**using **Snowflake / MS SQL Server / Azure / AWS** databases is essential.
- ** Hands on experience with**Python, R Analytics, Tableau, Alteryx, Knime or other data with relevant certification will be an added advantage.
