Permanent Emergency Response Coordinator working residentially on 5:2:4:3 in the South-East region of WA

**Your new company**

As an experienced Emergency Response Coordinator, you will be working for an owner operator for laterite nickel in an open-pit mining environment located in the Southeast region of Western Australia. Operations involve three open-pits, an ore processing beneficiation plant and includes purpose-built facilities for transporting product from the plant.

**Your new role**

As an experienced Emergency Response Coordinator, you will be highly motivated and will play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of employees in a dynamic and challenging work environment. As the Emergency Response Coordinator, you will provide medical support and guidance to employees in emergency situations, injury management and escalation. Duties will include but are not limited to;
- Provide medical support and guidance to employees in emergency situations
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to develop and implement medical programs and initiatives
- Assist in the coordination of medical resources and services
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall health and safety culture

**What you'll need to succeed**

As an experience Emergency Response Coordinator you will need;
- Diploma in Paramedical Science or equivalent, RN certification. Will consider Cert IV Healthcare (Ambulance) or above with at least 4+ years' experience in a clinical or emergency capacity
- Drug & Alcohol Testing Certification
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated results from working collaboratively in a team environment
- ALS Certificate
- INX experience (InControl, InFlight, InTuition)
- Mental Health First Aid qualification
- Drive under emergency conditions qualification
- Exposure to large minerals processing and mining environment

- $170,000 base annualised salary
