Riklan Emergency Management Services combine workplace safety training with labour hire, resulting in a unique safety focused workforce.

About the Role:

Our Client is currently seeking experienced Emergency Services Officers with Cert III Mines Rescue / Cert IV Health Care for an immediate start with both long and short term contracts available, to assist in the delivery of emergency, medical and health services on site.

A background within the fire and rescue / emergency medical services is highly desirable for this role.

About You:

This role will suit a motivated team player who has the ability to connect with a wide range of people, especially in emergency situations.

Essential requirements;

Demonstrated previous experience in similar position

Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (BG4 desirable)

Certificate IV in Health Care or equivalent

Current WA manual Drivers Licence

Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing

Intermediate skill level across Microsoft Office suite of programs.

HR Drivers Licence highly desirable

Current Police Clearance

Duties will include;

  • Maintaining all emergency equipment in a state of readiness;
  • Monitoring and responding to emergency calls and initial incident reports, mobilising assistance as required and coordinating the ERT at the incident;
  • Assist with coordination of site entry requirements;
  • Conducting, as directed, Drug & Alcohol testing;
  • Reviewing site procedures and processes
  • Other duties as directed.
