**Overview of Position**

Responsible for recording and maintaining the financial transactions of the business. As our Junior Finance Officer, you will be working to support the Finance Team by contributing to the smooth operation of our day-to-day finances. Using your numeracy skills and eye for detail, you will ensure that all transactions are processed with accuracy and efficiency.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Manage creditor accounts on a daily basis - processing payable invoices, payments, reconciling supplier accounts, resolving invoice discrepancies, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage supplier information and records
- Direct communication with the Procurement Team regarding account queries and outstanding payable invoices
- Oversee efficient filing of all financial records
- Provide general finance administration support
- Undertake any other specific duties as required by the Financial Controller

**Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong general computer aptitude
- Experience working with accounting software
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across all levels or the Company and various stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in Finance Administration, with exposure to AP and AR functions and account reconciliations
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping

**Nice to Have**:

- Intermediate to advanced word and excel skills would be highly regarded
- Experience in the use of ERP
- $60,000 - $70,000 a year
