**Job description - Junior Settlements Officer**
This fast-growing start-up is looking to expand their Settlements team with detail-orientated, finance-focused graduates. This role will mainly include handling the settlement process for all trades. You will also be generating daily payments working with a range of currencies. It’s an excellent first step for a grad in FinTech.

**Job responsibilities - Junior Settlements Officer**
- In this Settlements Officer role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:_
- Assisting with onboarding and static data maintenance
- Provide support on a wide range of post-trade execution and settlement process
- Generating daily payments of different currencies as daily bank account reconciliation
- Reconcile books and records with exchange feeds after market close
- Support clients from Reconcile operations/Front office books daily and send out relevant reporting
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure accurate trade capture

**Job requirements - Junior Settlements Officer**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance (or similar)
- FX experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Experience with cash handling/banking is a bonus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with EXCEL (e.g. PIVOT tables and VLOOKUP)
- A strong analytical mindset
- Must be extremely organised and have an eye for detail
- Ability to adhere to all relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work under pressure
- A get-up and go attitude
- (Attitude is everything)
- Police check required
- Must be fully vaccinated
