**Job description - Junior Reconciliation Officer**
This start-up is looking to expand its team with detail-orientated, finance-focused graduates. This role will mainly include handling the reconciliation process for all FX transactions. You will be handling the daily reconciliations of bank accounts across a range of currencies which is a great way to establish a career in a fast-growing FinTech company in Sydney.
**Job responsibilities - Junior Reconciliation Officer**
- In this Graduate Finance job, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:_
- Performing daily bank reconciliation to ensure daily FX client transactions are completed
- Perform daily client money reconciliation across a range of banks
- Preparing the client statements as well as monitoring variances in daily balance
- Assist in approving payment instructions on numerous banking platforms
- Resolve discrepancies across all of FX trading, banking platforms and treasury system
- Liaise closely with internal and external compliance team
**Job requirements - Junior Reconciliation Officer**
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance (or similar)
- Experience using NetSuite highly desirable but not essential
- Desire to work in a Fintech start-up
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with EXCEL (e.g Pivot Table and VLOOKUP)
- A strong analytical mindset
- Must be extremely organised and have an eye for detail
- Experience with cash handling/banking is a bonus
- Ability to work under pressure
- A get-up and go attitude - (Attitude is everything)
