**Overview**

A key member of the internal services function, the **Junior Finance Officer **contributes to the success of the organisation by assisting the Finance team in day-to-day operations.

This role is responsible for planning, implementing, reviewing, and continually optimising the way the finances of the organisation are managed, including handling accounts payable, payroll processing, bookkeeping & other finance tasks.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the Accounting function by completing related daily/monthly processes including tax, treasury and compliance and partner reporting
- Responsible for administering all aspects of the Accounts Payable function on a daily basis, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and supplier reconciliations
- Perform bookkeeping duties and maintain accurate financial records in Xero
- Assist with monthly Payroll processing, including liaison with our People & Culture team
- Assist in maintaining Dabble’s contracts register
- Ensure Dabble’s compliance obligations are met by developing and managing a compliance calendar, including administrative responsibility for the submission of all monthly/quarterly product fees

General administrative duties, including data entry and filing

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Formal qualifications in a finance related discipline, or studying towards
- Experience working with Xero or equivalent bookkeeping software preferable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to analyse and translate financial information so that it can be understood by people without financial knowledge
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving

An interest in Racing and/or Sports is encouraged as we are in the wagering industry
