Due to ongoing organic growth and advancements in market sophistication, an outstanding opportunity has presented itself for a high performing E-Commerce Manager to join their impressive digital transformation team.
Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will be responsible for the sales outcomes across all B2B and B2C ecommerce sites for the company and across their growing presence on global marketplaces. Managing a team of three people, the E-Commerce Manager will take operational and trading ownership for all websites.
**Your main responsibilities include**:
- Implementation of a wide range of strategies, tactics and techniques to accelerate the growth of their B2C and B2B channels, supporting the overarching business objectives for the brands
- Online sales strategy, planning and execution, trade/digital marketing activities and product catalogue management in line with strategic objectives and department budgets.
- Work with the Head of Digital to emulate the corporate E-Commerce strategy with a focus on driving online sales
- Manage the end-to-end customer journey from leads to sales completion for both new to business customers (acquisition) and existing customers (repeat purchases)
- Drive the E-Commerce function for each division including all website development projects, UX optimisation and execution of agreed promotional/sales strategies.
- Work with the Purchasing team to review sales reports and identify opportunities for inventory movement and adjustments to maximise ecommerce sales.
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure peak trade/promotional events are understood to ensure sufficient fulfillment planning.
- Work with Marketing and Social Media teams to ensure that digital assets and campaign creative are aligned to brand and fit for purpose.
- Manage the SEO and SEM agency to ensure ROI and sales targets are achieved, and website content and structure is optimised for performance in search engines.
- Accountable for weekly and monthly reporting of onsite analytics and performance for data driven decisions, providing detailed insights against KPIs.
- Provide leadership and support to the E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Coordinators(X2) to support a high performing team.
**To be considered for this role, you will require**:
- Experience in a similar leadership role
- Proven digital strategy and budgeting experience
- Solid technical and commercial understanding of Google Analytics, Magento, Shopify, WordPress, social media platforms, website tagging, creative content, SEO, performance marketing, and content management systems.
- Demonstrated ability and strong experience effectively leading, motivating and developing a small team of direct reports.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly and thoughtfully explain new concepts to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability working in a fast
- paced environment with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Capable of working autonomously, as well as a great team player.
- Someone who is willing to challenge the status quo; continually looking for innovative ways to evolve processes and structures for positive efficiency outcomes
