They will be responsible for procurement and contract formation activities for the engagement of construction contractors, consultants, and suppliers for their development and construction projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct sophisticated contract negotiations with construction contractors, suppliers, and consultants, supported by internal staff and legal advisers.
- Perform the finalisation of contracts in accordance with the commercial positions negotiated and agreed with counterparties.
- Undertake the initial management of contractors, suppliers and consultants post contract award prior to handover to the relevant Project Manager/Package Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Commerce/Business, Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
- Track record of negotiating and finalising high value multi-disciplinary contracts involving electrical works/infrastructure.
- Experience handling tender processes.
- Experience in project management, contract management, procurement, or project engineering.
- Preferably experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present and communicate sophisticated analytical data.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- High ethical standards.
- A commercial competence and ability to understand the business impact of procurement decisions.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly.
- Pro-active, reliable, and positive demeanour.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Australian driving license.
- Australian citizen or Permanent Resident.
