Join our team in a **Secondment Opportunity as a Workforce Rostering Coordinator**at The Star Brisbane.

The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

**A few of your responsibilities**
- Monitor and update published rosters in line with business needs and workforce governance
- Coordinate daily staffing and overtime requirements in line with EA, policy and statutory obligations
- Action inbox and messaging requests on a daily basis
- Prepare and finalise time files for payroll processing with a high degree of accuracy
- Support team members with rostering, payroll, and policy-related queries
- Ensure compliance with workforce frameworks, company policies, and WHS responsibilities
- Uphold The Star’s Code of Conduct and contribute to a risk-aware and safety-focused workplace

**What we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business
- Over 2 years of experience in a high-volume rostering environment preferred
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Sound technical knowledge of workforce and payroll systems
- A positive mindset and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that rostering and staffing across the property runs smoothly and in line with governance and compliance standards. Your commitment to accuracy and service will help support a seamless experience for our team, and ultimately for our guests.

**About us**

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium - a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
