WesTrac is looking for a skilled **Purchasing Officer** to join our Procurement team at our offices in Tomago, NSW.

A hands-on and fulfilling role, the Purchasing Officer is responsible for completing all transactional purchasing activities within their allocated areas of responsibility, ensure activities are compliant, and liaising with key stakeholders to support their requests.

**About you**:

- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role, with exposure to the functions of purchasing and or procurement
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), including consultation, negotiation and facilitation skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Enhanced computer skills, with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP/Ariba
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to analyse problems and provide appropriate solutions
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
