Security Control Room Operator

Full-time, permanent roles in major event venues and iconic Sydney precincts.

**The Role**:
As a **Control Room Operator in an event-based environment**, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining safety and coordination across large-scale, fast-moving venues. You will:

- **Monitor live operations** using CCTV and integrated security systems during events, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
- **Respond to alarms and incidents** swiftly and professionally, escalating where appropriate.
- **Support emergency response coordination**, relaying accurate information to ground teams and stakeholders.
- **Control access** to restricted zones, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.
- **Log incidents and reports** with precision, capturing essential details and ensuring accountability.
- **Maintain operational readiness** by checking and managing essential equipment and systems.

This is a high-responsibility position suited to someone who thrives in high-pressure situations, works well within clearly defined procedures, and understands the unique demands of public-facing events.

**About You**:
We’re looking for individuals who:

- Hold a current NSW 1A Security Licence (minimum 12 months).
- Have **previous Event Control Room Operator (CRO) experience** - this is essential.
- Are confident operating in a **fast-paced, live-event environment**, guided by SOPs and real-time updates.
- Communicate clearly, stay composed under pressure, and work effectively in a team.
- Are flexible and committed to working a **24/7 rotating roster**, including nights, weekends, and public events.
