You will be part of a small team whose purpose is to build organisational capacity to foster equity and inclusion for staff, volunteers, and consumers from minoritised communities.

**Benefits of working at Uniting**:
Our work isn’t easy, but it matters, and you will be working with people who care as much as you do about fostering equity and inclusion inclusion for staff, volunteers, and consumers.

The position is part-time, 4 days per week to December 2026. We believe in flexibility and currently work a combination of office-based time and work-from-home days. Our office in Lonsdale Street offers a range of concierge services, great end-of-trip facilities, and events such as free Yoga and well-being sessions.

- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used for living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing and streaming services.
- Increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchase leave program.
- Up to 10 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers (4 for secondary).
- Access training and development opportunities to help you grow.
- Opt in or out of public holidays and be respected for your unique background.
- Receive a 10% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee at Uniting Early Learning.

**Your skills and experience**:
You will bring with you:

- Proven knowledge and ability in developing and administering diversity, equity and inclusion programs within the health and human services or community services sectors.
- Proven capacity to influence change in a large and complex organisation.
- Proven ability to effectively engage and collaborate with members of minoritised communities and offer authentic allyship.
- Experience and capability to influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to minoritised communities through public advocacy and/or action.
- Lived experience as a member of one of Uniting priority cohorts is highly desirable: LGBTIQA+, culturally and linguistically diverse, refugee and asylum seeker, people with a disability.
- Bachelor-level degree in health and human services, community development, or equivalent industry experience
