**About the role**:
AGA is currently seeking a motivated individual who is keen to learn and develop administrative skills as a **Work Health & Safety Trainee**. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the achievement of the HSE strategy by understanding and providing first class service and effective support to management, client and customers and manage the services required with efficiency and expediency. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday - Friday 38 hours a week with a start time of 7am and a finish time of 3pm, with the potential for overtime depending on workload.

**About you**:

- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Computer literate
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive, quick learning attitude
- Ability to organise and prioritise own tasks
- Must be willing to undergo a National Police Clearance
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to attend accredited RTO/TAFE training
- Able to commit to a 12 month Traineeship

**What you will do**:

- Collect, verify, collate and present statistics to identify trends in performance
- Provides basic HSE Management System and contractual requirements coaching
- Manage and maintain IMPACT data, including recording or HS&E data reporting
- Supporting and coordination of 5 Ways to Wellbeing Program across the program
- Coordination of Program HS&E reporting including; compiling of data, interpretation of data and report writing etc.
- Coordination of HS&E communications
- Supporting the Administration of Mobilisation Training including; room set up, providing support to Mobilisation team, scanning and filing documentation
- Ensuring all appropriate actions are taken to implement the HSEMS, legislative and client contractual requirements
- Developing and preparing HS&E presentations
- Coordination of HS&E program training such as but not limited to; Safe Mind Safe Spine, NextGear Workshops and First Aid
- Coordination and monitoring of HS&E tasks such as but limited to; Drug & Alcohol testing and ordering of Program PPE
- Monitoring and conducting regular HSE governance checks including: collective insights, reviewing and updating HS&E Management Plans
- Coordinating and assisting with HS&E internal and external audits and managing and maintaining the IMPACT system
- Keeping abreast of HSE legislation, best practice, tools and tactics
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- General Administration task including but not limited to; scanning, filing, printing, correspondence
- Comply with, and exercise powers (if any), in accordance with Delegation and Authority Matrix
