**General Manager**:

As GM you will be based in our Adelaide CBD office work and with the Directors and a collaborative and knowledgeable team of lawyers, conveyancers and support team to manage operations across our 7 locations in SA.
A hands on role responsible for all aspects of our business, reporting to the Managing Director and Board and working closely with the established Practice Team leaders, this important position will take responsibility for:
- Assisting and providing direction to the management and leadership team
- Overseeing the firm’s finance functions and financial reporting
- Managing the firm’s operations and developing improvement initiatives
- Managing human resources and implementing the necessary policies and procedures
- Overseeing the practice management ITC systems
- Managing and updating internal systems and policies
- Attending to compliance and governance matters, in partnership with senior management
- Ad-hoc tasks pertaining to operations and general management of the firm.
**About you**:
An astute and experienced professional with appropriate qualifications (including either accounting or HR) and a proven track record in a management role you will also have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. This will be an autonomous role and your ability to develop plans that align with corporate strategy, effectively manage competing priorities and the capacity to promote and implement policies and change will be critical to your success. Previous experience in the legal or other professional services industries will be highly regarded but is not essential. It may be your opportunity to take the next step in your own career.
