**Your role**
As a Vendor Operations Manager you will oversee the operational service compliance and performance arrangements for vendor sourced services, specifically relating to Software, both subscription and perpetual based. The role is responsible for ensuring DCJ is complaint with license agreements and integrating system solutions across various platforms and technologies in a range of environments.

**What you ll do**
- You will act as the operational interface between the vendor service delivery teams and DCJ and act as a single point of operational escalation for the vendor and the internal clients in relation to software.
- Work with IT managers and the procurement team to interpret software licensing agreements and negotiate better financial outcomes and contract terms with vendors.
- Manage the end to end lifecycle of software renewals, ensuring briefing notes are submitted on time and with all the required information from the vendor and internal teams
- Implement robust processes during the transition and service acceptance phase to ensure Projects handover all relevant license agreements, forecast license costs and confirmed funding source for software assets to ensure the accuracy of the Software Asset Management System.
**What we re looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience
- Understanding of vendor management or procurement in the context of frameworks, controls, policies and processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the capability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- High level time management and the ability to prioritise tasks with competing deadlines

- **Targeted Question 2**: This role will involve working with multiple vendors and stakeholders to evaluate differing software and harmonise similar products across DCJ into one for easier maintenance and support. Can you provide an example of when you have had to evaluate multiple software that achieved similar requirements? How did you decide in the final product? How did you ensure the multiple stakeholders were on board with potentially moving products
