**The Role**
Deputy Director Engineering and Maintenance (DDE&M) is a critical position within LSB, performing product management, capability management and business sustainment functions for key complex maintenance Logistics Information Systems (LIS) including Computer Aided Maintenance Management version 2 (CAMM2) and Asset Management and Planning System (AMPS).

The position requires a qualified incumbent with a range of specialist knowledge to fulfil the capability co-ordination and business support duties of the E&M section, including business requirements analysis, business process sponsorship, business change, user mentoring, and user acceptance testing for CAMM2 and AMPS on behalf of the Defence user community.

Each day will require the Deputy Director E&M to fulfil a number of tasks which may include:

- Lead a team, including managing workflow and allocated resources and setting priorities;
- Support and mentor team members; aligning complementary skills and allocating resources in a manner that delivers results;
- Represent, advocate and negotiate on behalf of the organisation to achieve product management outcomes; and
- Analyse and interpret system performance against agreed capability needs and implement strategies to achieve effective outcomes.

**About our Team**

You will also have:

- A can-do attitude and an ability to inspire others and maintain positive stakeholder relationships while using sound judgment and understanding the impacts and risks to strategic outcomes;
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills, while remaining resilient and adaptable to changing plans and priorities. You will be able to work independently and provide leadership of teams to set vision, goals and business trajectory of a ICT products;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and be comfortable engaging, negotiating and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders while building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships;
- Prior experience in product or project management and an understanding of product and project management processes and methodologies.
