**About Our Client**:
My client is a national, highly diversified and innovative construction players in Australia. They have a reputation for excellence, from design to delivery. They see this uncertain economic climate as an opportunity to take market share - operating with integrity and having a great track record helps their case.

Having experienced unprecedented growth over the past three years, this organisation is now poised to continue this trajectory through M&A and organic opportunities. The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board are actively seeking a commercial CFO to navigate the organisation through this exciting change

As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in leading the finance function and provide senior management with high-level financial advice. You will ensure compliance with policies, systems, and regulatory requirements while offering strategic recommendations to the CEO and leadership team. You will front investors and handle the banking relationships in Australia. You will oversee the financial operations of subsidiary entities whilst playing a key role in safety, risk & compliance. The finance team and function have done well to keep up with the unprecedented growth. The organisation now realises the need to build for the future.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Demonstrated leadership skills in building relationships and fostering commerciality within an organisation.
- Construction experience at a T1 operator or commercial CFO experience with extensive operational expenditure (OPEX) would be helpful.
- Strong focus on efficiency and technology, with a track record of driving financial strategies rather than building empires.
- Proven ability to instill confidence in the boardroom, with banks & investors, yet establish credibility at construction sites.
- Experience scaling a company from small cap to big business or an individual who understands how to navigate a large corporate successfully.
- Familiarity with banking funding, investment, and governance.
