About Australian Red Cross
Australian Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian movement. We support and empower people and communities in times of vulnerability. We act for humanity.
How this role supports our work
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Advisor to join our dynamic brand and creative content team. In this role, you’ll be a key support to ensure the team runs smoothly through project coordination, keeping key processes on track and maintaining brand consistency. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, you’ll be working with stakeholders to ensure that briefs are clear and complete, monitoring resource and timings to ensure adequate allocation to projects and monitoring internal channels to support brand requests across the organisation.
You’ll work closely with our Multimedia Producer to maintain our Content Hub which supports both internal and external audiences.
This is a hands-on experience in a creative environment with purpose, helping to ensure the delivery of meaningful on-brand content.
What you will do day to day
- Review incoming briefs from the MarComms team to ensure they’re clear, complete and strategically aligned.
- Assist in managing the team’s workload in Jira, supporting the Senior Manager - Brand and Creative with resource allocation and ensuring deadlines are visible and achievable.
- Help ensure brand consistency across the organisation by reviewing incoming requests, offering guidance to ensure content is on brand, and following the Emblem Use Approval process.
- Help establish and maintain a new internal portal for ordering branded uniforms and materials, making the process simple, streamlined and accessible for staff.
- Support the Multimedia Producer in the uploading and tagging of content to ensure assets are up to date, easy to find and properly categorised.
- Support the team in upholding brand standards across all touchpoints, from proofreading to visual consistency checks.
What you will bring
- Proven ability and success as a Creative writer and thinker with a strong eye for detail
- A team-player mentality with sound analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute briefs and projects against timelines to meet commitments
- Strong interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing - with an ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to thrive in a face-paced, high-pressure environment balancing multiple projects simultaneously and working to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under general direction from senior employees, exercise a degree of autonomy and work with and support teams and people from diverse backgrounds to create a collaborative working environment.
Benefits that act for you, while you act for humanity
- Take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and increase your take-home pay. You can salary package up to $15,900 for living expenses (such as rent, groceries, utility bills); up to $2,650 for holiday accommodation and meals when dining out; Novated car leases; superannuation and purchase additional annual leave.
- Access flexible working arrangements including generous hybrid arrangements and a paid ‘Me’ day
