Our team is responsible for internal communications and social media at AMP. This means working across the entire business, including with senior leaders and the CEO.

**The Opportunity**

Do you have a background in broadcast journalism or video production? Do you enjoy breaking down information to tell great stories? This may be the role for you.

Working within AMP’s Communications and Sustainability team, we have a unique opportunity for the right person to get to know our people and business through the creation of compelling video, photo and written content. You will manage our corporate Newsroom and social media channels (predominantly LinkedIn and Twitter) to help drive the corporate social media and content strategy and be skilled in repurposing content to reach internal audiences too.

**How you will make an impact**
- Video and podcast production - includes recording, editing and in some cases interviews
- Image creation using Photoshop (or appropriate design platforms) for content used in Newsroom and social channels
- Contribute to content strategies and planning for our channels, including coaching team members on the use of video where appropriate and proactive suggestions for content
- Engage with trends and new developments in the use of digital content by corporates and champion them within the Communications team
- Management of the AMP Newsroom as a destination information site.

**What you can bring to the role**:

- Tertiary qualifications in relevant area, preferably journalism
- At least three years as a working journalist, preferably in a digital newsroom
- Skilled in shooting and editing video including still photography
- Outstanding writer for online; ability to make business content engaging
- Good news judgement and proactive approach to story telling

To be successful in this role you will build and maintain exceptional stakeholder relationships. You enjoy working in a collaborative team culture and can quickly adapt to often shifting projects, team and business priorities. You are a great communicator, and take pride in the delivery of your work
