**We're Hiring: Assistant Café Manager**
**Location**: Cordeaux Social Club - West End

**Job Type**: Permanent/Full-Time
**Salary**: $55,000 - $60,000 (depending on experience and roster)

Do you have a passion for great coffee, exceptional customer service, and leading a vibrant team? We're on the lookout for a **motivated, hands-on Assistant Café Manager** to help drive the daily operations of our bustling café.

**About Us**:
We are a locally owned and operated cafe open 7 days from 6am - 2pm serving breakfast and lunch. We pride ourselves on doing the simple things right and have built up a loyal customer base since opening in 2022.

**Your Role**:
As the Assistant Café Manager, you'll support the Café Manager/ownership team in the smooth running of daily operations. You’ll help lead our team, maintain high standards, and ensure every customer enjoys a warm and memorable experience. We are looking for a long term team member who is looking to grow within the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing daily café operations
- Lead, motivate, and train front-of-house staff
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Support stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and compliance
- Step into the Manager’s role during their absence
- Reporting to the management/ownership team

**We’re Looking For Someone Who**:

- Has previous experience in hospitality, ideally in a leadership role (minimum 2 years experience)
- Is confident, reliable, and a natural team leader
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Holds a current RSA (or is willing to obtain) and relevant food safety certifications

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
