**Signature Hospitality Group is looking for a Payroll Officer to be a part of a dynamic team in our fast-growing business.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE...**

As a **Payroll Officer**, you will be supporting a group of over 1300 outstanding team members across Australia. This is a Full Time role working in our South Melbourne office.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- End-to-end processing and reporting of the fortnightly payroll
- Providing payroll advice and communicate guidelines and policies to internal customers
- Onboarding new employees and maintaining the staff database across Deputy, Flare and MYOB
- Preparation of returns to statutory obligations in relation to superannuation, Department of Education and Training Victoria, Australian Taxation Office, and Work Cover
- Account and bank reconciliations
- Supporting Accounts Payable and end of month reporting

**To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes**:

- 2+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll
- Confident communicator, as you will liaise with numerous stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Sound knowledge of the Hospitality Industry (General) Award and National Employment Standards
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on compliance
- MYOB and Deputy experience will be highly regarded (Payroll)
- Strong experience with systems, IT and database management skills
- Demonstrated experience in supplier relation and communication
- Ability to build strong relationships
