**The Opportunity**

Thiess is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Services Manager to join our team. Initially based in our client's office in Adelaide, this pivotal role will transition to a site-based position at the Hillside Copper and Gold Project in South Australia. As a key representative of the Thiess team, you will play a crucial role in assisting our client in setting up their mine for successful operation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the client to ensure the seamless setup and transition of the mining operations.
- Provide expert technical advice and support on all aspects of the mining process.
- Oversee the development and implementation of mining plans and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals to achieve project goals.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.

**About You**:

- A degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical management role within the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of mining operations, planning, and development.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to relocate and work on-site at the Hillside Copper and Gold Project.
