Principal Statutory Planner - Band 7
- Three month contract
- Hybrid working model - open to flexible hours

PSP are currently working with a local council in Melebourne’s North East on the recruitment of a Principal Planner.

This is a green-wedge council, as such you will see a different caseload to other metro councils, you will be working on ‘rural’ planning issues, such as, sheds, bush fire management, vegetation overlays, etc.

This is a contract role in a busy council and it is very likely to be extended. Open to part-time or flexible work arrangements. Must have experience working under the Victorian Planning Scheme.

The team operate a hybrid working arrangement with two days per week in the office.

**Requirements include**:

- Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Planning or related discipline.
- Experience working with Victorian Planning Scheme, ideally in a metropolitan context.

**Benefits include**:

- $60 - 65 p/h + super
- Contract with a council with plenty of work, likely for role to be extended.
- Flexible hours / days to suit you.
