**Council located South of Melbourne's CBD is looking for a Principal Statutory Planner to join their team on a contract basis.**
- 3 month contract - possibility of extension
- Full time hours
- Hybrid role
- Hourly rate depending on experience
- Laptop provided
- Manage your own case load

As a seasoned and professional Town Planner, reporting to the Statutory Planning Team Leader, you will deliver first class planning outcomes through the provision of well-considered and consistent Statutory Planning services including decision making, processing, advocacy and general advice.

As the successful applicant you will have:

- A degree in Statutory Town Planning, or relevant qualifications/experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective negotiation, problem solving and presentation skills
