The position is responsible for directing and administering the overall operational efforts of the branch, including freight, customs, commercial and warehouse.

Job tasks & responsibilities:

- Contribute to and ensure local operational strategy is adhered to.
- Ensure that financial management (overheads, expenditure, billing and invoicing) is carried out in accordance with company requirements.
- Ensure that current operation complies as per the regulations and rules of the government authorities and company rules.
- Establish and maintain freight and customer relationships.
- Monitor and report on KPI’s.
- Formulate and implement action plans to address non-conformance.
- Be responsible for the overall performance for the customs operations and ensure management intensity is maintained in key performance areas.

**Skills & experience**:

- At least 5-7 years of experience in a senior freight operations or similar position.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of freight management ensuring profitability of operations, optimizing business process and resources
