**Vertikote Group** is one of Australia's leading powder coating and protective coatings applicators based in Dandenong (Victoria). Due to sustained growth, we have several positions open and are seeking to recruit experienced and capable persons to join our busy production teams.

The **Production Support & Forklift Operator** roles are a critical interface within our business. These roles require highly skilled forklift operators with strong administration and numeracy skills that understand the pressures of and expectations of a production facility and can interact effectively with our internal and external customers at all times.

Key aspects of these roles are:

- Forklift Duties - handling cases of aluminium extrusion, oversized and heavy items
- Goods Inward - unloading trucks, identifying, recording paperwork and storing of all work received
- Goods Outward - storing finished work and loading of trucks.
- Production - sorting and presenting work to production lines to ensure throughput
- Store - receiving & issuing goods to production lines.
- Strapping - handling goods safely and to eliminate risk of damage
- QA - inspection of goods received and flagging any quality concerns
- Administration - recording of relevant information and associated documentation

To be considered for these rewarding positions, you MUST have:

- Current Forklift & Drivers Licence
- Excellent safety awareness/ performance and work attendance record
- Relevant experience handling large aluminium and/or steel products
- Proven work history in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done
- Good levels of written and verbal communication skills with customer service focus
- Be a hands on TEAM player with a can do / will do attitude
- Have your own transport and be able to work overtime when needed
