Production Manager

**We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations at our Dandenong plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage a team across multiple shifts, optimise resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with our strategic goals.

Duties include but are not limited to:**

• Lead and manage production teams to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Oversee operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, ensuring consistent performance across all shifts.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term production plans in collaboration with the Plant Manager.
• Ensure compliance with WHS policies and proactively reduce workplace hazards.
• Drive operational excellence (OPEX) initiatives and process improvements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and waste management.
• Monitor production quality and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Collaborate with Sales and Maintenance to align production schedules with business needs.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, compliant with WHSE policies and procedures.

Success Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing people in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing plant operations to budget and executing production plans.
• A proactive approach to WHS and compliance.
