About the role

Our established and growing Melbourne Civil team is looking for a Civil CAD Technician with 2+ years’ experience in the Civil sector working across Health, Education, Sport & Leisure, Residential, Retail, Commercial, Industrial and Defence.

This would include the preparation of Civil Engineering documentation, and delivery from master planning through to detailed design and construction.

Successful applicants will possess a sound understanding of civil engineering design principles and experience in preparing technical drawing packages that typically include bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater, sewer and water network designs.

Day to day tasks would involve:

- Preparation of technical drawing packages
- Contribute to the development of the section, including the mentoring and training of junior CAD Technicians
- Occasionally participate in meetings with clients and other consultants
- Assist other members of the project team
- Be accurate, diligent, and professional
- Adhere to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2yrs experience preparing technical drawing packages in the Civil Buildings sector.
- Extensive experience in the documentation platform AutoCAD is essential
- Experience in the design platform Civil 3D is advantageous but not essential
