Role Description

As a CAD-CAM Support Specialist, your primary role is to provide exceptional technical support to our clients and their CAD-CAM systems. Your responsibilities will extend to pre-sales demonstrations, installation, training and servicing.

The successful candidate will have a particular focus on CAD systems however will be across the entire CAD-CAM workflow which includes intraoral scanners, milling and 3D printing systems.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC with some travel across Australia and New Zealand. Support is provided via remote access as well as on-site.

Experience working in CNC or CAD-CAM workflows including milling and 3D printing would be an advantage as would experience as a Dental Technician.

Qualifications & relevant skills you might have:

  • At least two years of experience in Dental CAD-CAM support or manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of
    exocad
    software and CAD softwares such as
    3Shape
    , CAM, an advantage
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot milling machines and 3D Printers
  • Dental Technician qualification is an advantage but not critical
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with CAD software, CAM software, and Dental Implant manufacturing is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in Help Desk, Technical Support or Systems Support role in a Lab, Dental Manufacturing or Dental Practice would also be favourable
