**About the role**

WesTrac is seek a result driven Mining Support Representative to join our team.

Reporting to the Mining Support Manager, the Mining Support Representative is responsible for identifying and capturing product sales opportunities through equipment performance and key projects within allocated customer accounts, to deliver lowest total cost of ownership. Relationship management and understanding customer drivers to achieve market share and revenue targets are crucial to your success in this role.

Based at our Mt Thorley Branch with accounts in the Hunter Valley and Mudgee region, this position reports to the Mining Support Manager and is offered on a full time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday.

This role offers a company car and a competitive salary with potential on target earning of $32,000 in commission.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and capture aftermarket sales opportunities and provide offerings / solutions to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for site account management and regular reporting on the customer's Caterpillar fleet performance to ensure full value of Caterpillar assets.
- Work with the customer to identify underperforming Caterpillar equipment and engage with internal specialist to address under performance.
- Support key projects to ensure the customer experience is of the highest level.
- Make recommendations for parts & component inventory to assist in servicing future customer demands.

**Skills & Experience**
- Desirable: relevant trade certificate and significant experience in earthmoving parts and/or service
- Current NSW Driver’s licence with the ability and willingness to travel frequently
- Strong customer focus and ability to understand customer requirements and needs
- Understanding of Heavy Mining Equipment ‘Total Cost of Ownership’ modelling
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and utilise influencing skills to deliver outcomes
- Well-developed negotiation, problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective Time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
