**Role Description/Criteria**

**A Kildare Education Ministries Catholic School in the Brigidine Tradition.**

Kilbreda College, established in 1904, is a Catholic secondary school for girls located in the bayside suburb of Mentone. The College was recently recognised by The Educator as a 5 Star Employer of Choice.

Applications are invited from skilled and professional Accounts Officers to join our Finance Team in a part-time, ongoing role, commencing as soon as possible.

The Accounts Officer reports to the Finance Manager and works collaboratively with members of the Finance Team to ensure effective and efficient accounts payable and administration services.

**EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**:
**Must have**:

- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to remain task focused, with high level of organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently (exhibiting initiative) and as part of a team contributing to team harmony and performance
- Demonstrated experience in a similar accounts role
- Possess high-level customer service skills
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Display and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accurate and proficient keyboard skills - alpha and numeric
- Willingness to adopt new work practices and tasks in line with changes in technology
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid Working with Children Check

**Desirable**:

- Experience with Synergetic and / or Alii
- Experience working in a school
- Certificate III in Administration/Finance/Business
