**The Role We Offer**

This is an exciting opportunity to be our next Keeper, we are looking for an experienced, passionate Event Manager, who is driven to learn and succeed.

**Key Responsibilities**

Working with our team of Project Managers, Producers, Directors and Design studio, to manage medium to large scale events. This role is Sydney based with remote working flexibility.

- The Role and Duties

Event Duties:

- Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Take briefs from the client, autonomously.
- Provide well thought out reverse briefs to the client.
- Work with the creative team to conceptualise the event ideas and projects.
- Pitch ideas to the client for medium events and contribute to pitches for large projects by collaborating with other team members.
- Design, conceptualise, plan and deliver all elements of a medium scale event.
- Budget management and financial management, including invoicing, expenditure, budget recces
- Understand a client’s challenge and provide a timely and effective solution.
- Take overall accountability for event project decisions being made.
- Contribute to new business pitches
- Manage and negotiate with suppliers to deliver positive outcomes.
- Work closely with your team by delegating tasks, while overseeing all outcomes.
- Manage and mentor Event Coordinator/Project Assistants.
- Deliver multiple event projects simultaneously.

Office Duties:

- Creating Agendas, Attending client and internal meetings, taking minutes
- Setting up and managing WIP Documents (Google Sheets, Slides, Docs)
- Managing action items post meetings, with roles and responsibilities
- Engaging suppliers and negotiating quotes and lead times
- Passing information laterally, up, down and through the team.
- Help to manage bump in, build, onsite, show and bump out
- Help to providing post event reporting and analytics

**The Experience You’ll Bring**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Qualified to at least Diploma level (or its equivalent) in an events related discipline
- Have at least 2 years prior experience in a similar role
- Be proactive and supportive across client and internal meetings and management
- Must love events and have a strong passion for events culture
- Be willing to learn, to challenge and to ask questions
- Have friendly and respectful supplier relationship skills
- Be keen to work in production, logistics and signage.
- Show exceptional attention to detail. Be highly motivated and results driven with great organizational skills
- Be willing to be creative helping define concepts and develop proposals
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
- Be proactive and not afraid to ask questions and admit mistakes
- Sound judgement and decision making in collaboration
- Be able to smile and trust others will always be here to help you
- G-suite experience

**The Salary Package**

The salary package is excluding superannuation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Event Manager or similar: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sydney, NSW 2000
