
Experienced Disability Support Worker

Our organisation is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care and support to clients with complex disabilities.
About the Role: As a Complex Clients Specialist, you will work closely with individuals who have multiple or severe disabilities, challenging behaviours, or complex medical needs. Your expertise and patient-centered approach will be crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and supporting them to achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised care and support to clients with complex needs, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration
- Develop and implement behaviour support strategies and person-centered plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care
- Advocate for clients' rights and promote their independence and community inclusion
- Maintain accurate records and report on clients' progress and any incidents
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals with complex disabilities
- Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification
- NDISWC
- WWCC
- Demonstrated experience in behaviour support and managing challenging behaviours
- Strong understanding of person-centered practices and the NDIS framework
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Physical capability to assist with manual handling tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
